OK, I feel a rant coming on…
[rant]Recently I had found a new author that had great potential to pull me into her paranormal series. I had enjoyed two of the series and have a few more on my huge to be read pile. I have been following authors on twitter, facebook, blogs and websites lately so that I can get updated information on their books and interests. I enjoy reading posts by other fans and authors. This is good because I feel more connected, but bad because somethings I find out things that I don’t like about them.

An autobuy for me. Amazon is listing the new Sookie Stackhouse book, Dead in the Family: A Sookie Stackhouse Novel . Due out in hardcover on May 4, 2010. This will be book 10 in the series…

The Laird Who Loved Me – Karen Hawkins
I felt lost throughout most of the story but the gist of the story came through. I enjoyed the byplay of the characters. Alexander MacLean sets out to ruin Caitlyn Hurst because of some past involvement that forced his brother to marry. While he plans to ruin he, he doesn’t plan to fall in love with her.

Another new addition to my future wishlist. Waking the Witch by Kelley Armstrong is due to be released on August 3, 2010 in Hardback.
