Angie's Romance Reviews (and trades) Please excuse the horrible grammer. I am NOT an aspiring writer, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn last night.

For the past few years Adele Harris runs into loser after loser and is sure she is under some curse. Little does she know that she is absolutely correct. She is cursed by her childhood nemesis Devon. Each date usually starts out well enough, yet in the end these rationally sane men turn into uber jerks within the blink of an eye…. Of course it makes for some great date tales, but Adele is sexually frustrated and fed up with her dating situation.

Adele’s pregnant sister falls on some tough times and medical issues and asks Adele to come home and help with her teen daughter. Adele knows little about her niece and less yet about taking care of a moody teenager. While picking up her niece from a friends house she discovers that the friends father is none other than her first love Zack Zematis whom charmed he out of her virginity in college, a thousand lifetimes ago. Zack left Adele after his old girlfriend, Devon, found out she was pregnant. Forever breaking her heart. Devon is now dead and Zack is finding a renewed attraction to Adele.

I found myself staying up to read this and enjoyed it, but it is pretty typical and predictable – Great if your looking for something cute, sweet and funny. It doesn’t take long to realize how it is going to play out. Both hero and heroine are cautious of renewing their relationship and it is further compounded by Zack’s teen daughter.
