Hot Target-Suzanne Brockmann1

Another great SEAL/Trouble Shooters series book by Brockmann. I find that once I pick one up I have to read almost straight through. Who needs to work anyway?

Chief Cosmo Richter is on leave from the SEAL team to take care of his mother after she has an accident. Not being one to enjoy idle time, he takes on a “cake” job for Troubleshooters. Movie producer Jane Mercedes Chadwick has received a death threat and her production company has taken it seriously and hired security for her.

It Happened One Autumn-Lisa Kleypas0

Having just finished Secrets of Summer Night, I moved on to the next of the wallflower series. I liked this one much better than the previous one.

Lillian Bowman is an american heiress whose family has brought her and her sister Daisy to England to find a noble husband. Unfortuntely Lillian flaunts all “rules” of the ton and is not considered as a good catch. Lillian has teamed up with the wallflowers to find a husband.

Secrets of a Summer Night-Lisa Kleypas0

One of my absolute top favs was written by Lisa Kleypas. Ever since reading Dreaming of You I have picked up everything she has written. None have topped Dreaming yet, but many are close.

Unfortuntely for me, Secrets of a Summer Night was not a keeper for me. I found the story sort of boring. To be fair, historicals are my least favorite category of romance so it takes a lot to impress me.

Match Me If You Can-Susan Elizabeth Phillips0

I have absolutely loved all of the Susan Elizabeth Phillips books and this is no exception. Annabelle has just inherited her quirky grandmothers matchmaking business. She decides she needs to land a large client to springboard her business. Annabelle turns toward her college friend Molly Tucker (This Heart of Mine) to get an introduction to Heath Champion, a cut throat sports agent and very eligible batchelor. If she can find him a match her business will be set.

Undead and Unemployed-Mary Janice Davidson0

I have been very busy so I have not listed the last few books I have read. Time to catch up.

I just finished Undead and Unemployed. Having enjoyed Undead and Unwed I was looking forward to this one. I am slightly disappointed. The storyline and Betsy’s quips are very funny, but after awhile you come to realize that Betsy is truly the “dumb” smart assed blonde. I guess that is the appeal for the story but it I think it gets old and wonder how long this can carry out into a series. I sure it could go on and on, but I don’t know how long it would keep my attention. Unlike other vampire series where I can’t wait to get to the next book, I can holdout till I find the next book at a UBS or on paperback swap.
