Passionate Realities-Nicole Austin

Having read and loved the book Menage from Emma Holly I run across a review for this ebook and thought they might be similar.

Never having purchased or read an e-book I was a e-book virgin. I purchased this as a pdf file and printed it out. I spend so much freaking time on the computer, I didn’t want to spend my wind down time in front of it too. I really think I prefer real books even though I am a electronic junkie…..

Dangerous-Amanda Quick

I have a few big to be read piles and decided to pick a book from my upstairs pile. Many of the books up there I have had around for a while and this was one of them.

Prudence Merryweather is a country-raised girl who has been brought to town for the season. She has a fondness for “ghost” hunting and is now know as “The Original”. (You know the type from high school, the bookish girl with the totally mismatched clothing).

Skintight-Susan Anderson

Andersen is a favorite of mine so I couldn’t wait to read this newest novel. The cover in my opinion is really ugly, but the story was ok.

Jackson Gallagher McCall, aka Jax Gallagher — tournament poker pro, in a drunken pity fest gambles away a family heirloom autographed baseball to an Elvis impersonating Russian Mafioso — say that fast three times. He soon discovers that the ball was not left to him in his fathers will but actually left to his step mom Treena McCall a 35 year old Las Vegas showgirl with polish roots from Pennsylvania

Lady of Desire-Gaelen Foley

Having just finished Luciens story I immediately picked up Jacinda’s story. I am so glad I found this author. I love series but usually get bored and try to spread them out some. Not the case with series on the “Knight” family.

Lord of Fire-Gaelen Foley

Having read Lord of Ice a few months ago, I was glad to read Lucien’s story. Foley’s writing has now made her one of my favorite historical authors. Having become bored with typical historicals this one is uniquely different.

Alice Montague has left her home to bring back her slut of a sister-in-law, Caro. Caro has left town leaving Alice to take care of her nephew whom is now sick with the chicken pox. Caro is now the mistress of Lord Lucifer (Lucien) Knight. While looking for Caro, Alice arrives in the “Grotto” where a massive orgy is taking place. Lucien is in the guise of “Draco” and shows up in the middle of the orgy with young new initates crawling all over him. What a different way to start a story.

Smart Mouth-Erin McCarthy

This is the first I have read from author Erin McCarthy and I have to say it was laugh out loud funny. The banter between the hero and heroine were great. The sex was hoooottttt and abundant. This is a great summer read.

Reese Hampton is a fledgling reporter for a crappy newspaper when fate lands a top story in her lap. The story comes attached to super hot FBI agent Derek Knight.

I have to say I was a bit disappointed in the story itself due to the unreality of the situations and investigation these two characters have gotten themselves into, but did I mention that the sex was hot and the banter super super funny?

Sin and Sensibility-Suzanne Enoch

I was in the mood for a historical romance so I pulled this out of my to be read pile.

Lady Eleanor Griffin has three overprotective brothers who have tightened the reigns on what she can and cannot do. In an attempt to have some fun before settling down and marrying any boring man that her brothers pick, she enlists the aid of a family friend and notourious rake Valentine Corbett. Little does she know that her brothers have already brought Valentine into the fold to spy for them and keep her out of trouble. That trouble includes a fortune seeking lord who is trying to trap Eleanor into marriage as well as naked swimming at night in a public park….

Total Rush-Deirdre Martin

  • Posted on August 6, 2005 at 1:16 pm

Having totally enjoyed Martin’s previous books Fair Play and Body Check I couldn’t wait to read Gemma’s story. I regret to say that I didn’t like it as much as the other two.

Gemma is living in Theresa’s (Body Check) apartment in New York. Sean Kennealy is her upstairs neighbor who becomes annoyed with her burning incense. Sean is a fireman and shows up at Gemma’s door in fireman gear claiming that a call was made about a fire.

He Loves Lucy-Susan Donovan

Susan Donovan, He Loves Lucy, Susan Donovan

I received this book in the mail yesterday and finished it by today. I love light hearted romantic comedies. If you have not read Susan Donovan you should run right out and find one of her books. I have read them all so far.

Smart and funny ad executive, Lucy Cunningham finds herself in a contest to lose 100 lbs in a year. She immediately falls for (literally) her hunky trainer, Theo Redmond, whom she describes as Malibu Ken. As a college student, Lucy was involved in a very humiliating experience and has padded her heart and her booty ever since. Theo’s life has also brought him heartache and major responsibilities so he too has shielded his heart. He grows to admire and love Lucy’s determination and personality.
